What is a PairCode?
A PairCode is a short, unique code generated for each shift. Share it with anyone who needs to verify your evidence. They simply enter the code to view your shift details.
Do I need an account to use STAMPIA?
No. STAMPIA is privacy-first. Staff can use the app without creating an account or logging in. Viewers can verify evidence using just the PairCode—no sign-up required.
How long do verification links last?
Links stay active for 48 hours after a shift ends. After that, the public viewer locks automatically. You can generate a new link if needed.
Is my data encrypted?
Yes. All data is encrypted when sent to our servers (in transit) and when stored (at rest). This helps keep your information secure.
Can evidence be edited after capture?
No. Once a photo is captured and synced, it cannot be changed. The viewer shows only the original, unaltered evidence.
Are viewer access attempts logged?
Yes, for security purposes. We record when someone views evidence, including the time and a hashed (anonymised) version of their IP address. This helps detect misuse while respecting privacy.
Where is my data stored?
Your data is stored on secure cloud servers. EU-based hosting is available for organisations that require it.
Why did STAMPIA log me out after I changed time settings?
STAMPIA uses integrity safeguards to detect and deter time tampering. If your device's time or location settings appear inconsistent with our servers, you may be temporarily logged out to protect evidence integrity. Simply correct your device settings (ensure automatic time is enabled) to continue using the app. This feature protects the reliability of all users' evidence. See Section 6A of our Terms of Service for details.
