STAMPIA – Proof of Presence

By using STAMPIA, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

STAMPIA allows users to:

Track location during shifts
Capture timestamped photo evidence
Add notes with time and location
Generate reports
Share live location voluntarily

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use STAMPIA.

4. Trial Access & Usage Limits

STAMPIA currently operates as a trial service with usage limits.

Trial users may be subject to limits on:

Number of shifts
Number of photos or notes
Number of live view shares
Number of PDF report generations

These limits may change during the trial period.

5. Access Codes

We may provide one-time access codes that unlock additional usage limits or features.

Each code:

Can be used only once
Is non-transferable
Cannot be reused once redeemed

We reserve the right to revoke access codes if misuse or abuse is detected.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Track people without their consent
Use the app for illegal or harmful activities
Upload unlawful or offensive content
Attempt to bypass usage limits or security
Manipulate device time, date, or location settings to falsify records

Violation may result in termination of access.

6A. Integrity Protection & Tamper Detection

STAMPIA is designed to detect and deter time tampering and location manipulation to protect the integrity of all users' evidence.

How it works: The app compares your device's reported time against our server time. If significant discrepancies or anomalies are detected (such as manipulated device clocks or location spoofing), certain app features may be temporarily restricted or the app may require you to correct your device settings before continuing.

By using STAMPIA, you acknowledge and agree that:

Your device time and location settings should remain accurate
Detected tampering may result in feature restrictions
This protection benefits all users by maintaining evidence reliability
These measures are similar to security protocols used by other professional applications

This feature is designed to protect the value of verified evidence for all users and is not intended as a punitive measure.

6B. Verification Link Expiry

To protect the security and privacy of shift data, verification links automatically expire 48 hours after a shift ends.

What this means: After a shift is completed, the public viewer link (stampia.tech/viewer/...) will remain accessible for 48 hours. After this period, the link will display a lock screen and the shift data will no longer be viewable.

If you need continued access to an expired shift's data:

Contact the original sender to request a new verification link
Contact STAMPIA support at contact@stampia.tech for assistance

This expiry mechanism is designed to:

Protect worker privacy after the verification period
Limit unauthorised access to shift data
Ensure verification links are time-sensitive and secure

7. User Responsibility

You are responsible for:

The accuracy of data you enter
Securing your device
Content you capture or upload

8. Eligibility & Device Use

STAMPIA currently operates without traditional user accounts.

Usage is associated with your device and optional access codes. You are responsible for securing your device and any data stored on it.

9. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of your data.

You grant us permission to process it only to provide the service.

10. Service Availability

The service is provided "as is"
We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation
Features may change during the trial phase

11. Disclaimer

We do not guarantee:

100% GPS accuracy
Continuous availability
Suitability for legal or forensic purposes

Location accuracy depends on device and environmental factors. STAMPIA provides tamper-evident verification features, not absolute guarantees.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

Data loss
Indirect or consequential damages
Errors caused by device or network issues

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:

These Terms are violated
The service is misused
Fraud or abuse is detected

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and STAMPIA – Proof of Presence.
